Accountability
A recent post from Dr. Julie Gurner really hit home...the only people who feel attacked by accountability in their lives have avoided personal responsibility way too long.
Let's combine this with an amazing graphic from MacKenzie Seale that shows that you have a 95% chance of achieving a goal when someone else holds you accountable.
Accountability is the bedrock of personal training, entrepreneurship, and successful work and sports teams.
Accountability is more than just showing up consistently. It's showing up and delivering on what you agreed to.
Accountability becomes more important when recovering from traumatic events that effect your mental health.
I will show up every day and do the work and I will be accountable to someone - a friend, coach, therapist, or advisor.
And my best days are ahead of me.
